Senior Data Scientist, Resonate
Daniel Scantlebury is a senior data scientist at Resonate where he works on the development, maintenance, and improvement of thousands of demographic, psychographic, and voter attribute models. He holds a PhD in ecology and evolutionary biology from the University of Rochester where studied phenomena occurring at continental spatial scales and time scales that far exceed human lifetimes – perspectives that have proved invaluable at Resonate where his models provide insights at scales ranging from the level of individuals to the entire nation. Some highlights from his time at Resonate include watching the Blue Wall crumble 30 days before the 2016 Presidential Election through algorithmic binoculars and elucidating the impact of the infamous “Comey Letter” on key constituents. His favorite projects, though, are collaborative, custom engagements where every day is beset by challenges and opportunities to develop new methods and reach new horizons.
